Have you heard of these incredible Everleigh entrepreneurs?

Everleigh isn’t just home to a vibrant and welcoming community, it’s the base for a range of thriving local businesses too!

To show our support, we chatted with four Everleigh residents and business owners to find out more about their local brands and life here in Greenbank.

O&M Health and Fitness

O&M Health and Fitness is a personal training and fitness business run by couple Candice Oudyn and Zach McAlloon, specialising in group boot camps, one-on-one training, mobility planning and more.

“My love for health is what led me to found O&M Health and Fitness in 2017 after completing my bachelor of Exercise & Health Science,” says Candice.

Zach says the pair are passionate about helping further grow the health and wellbeing of the Everleigh community.

“As a business, living in Everleigh allows us to connect with the neighbourhood and become more than just clients and trainers, but friends who work out together,” says Zach

“If you’re interested, we run a few free sessions throughout the week. We encourage all locals to come down and try it out,” he says.

Devana Candles

Devana Candles, owned by Everleigh homeowner Pinh Bounphaeng, creates pure soy candles made with natural and non-toxic ingredients.

“Devana Candles is all about home fragrance; we exist to bring beautiful fragrances with therapeutic qualities to your home, the one place that should be a place of peace and rest to rejuvenate,” says Pinh.

Devana Candles was born out of Pinh’s love of candles, and all things associated with home fragrance. “I found the art of creating candles therapeutic and remember thinking how happy I could be if I could make candles all day,” she says.

Pinh says living in Everleigh has been beneficial in helping her business grow. “As a small business it helps to have a tight-knit community behind you. The community at Everleigh have supported me by spreading the word about my candles.”

Macrame by Nik

Macrame by Nik is a decor business run by Everleigh mother Nicole Elliot, who handmakes beautiful macrame pieces.

Nicole created the business shortly after the birth of her first son, after feeling lost in the crazy ride of becoming a parent.

“I needed something for myself. So, I ordered two rolls of string and taught myself macrame. The next thing I knew, people were loving my handmade products and I was able to turn my hobby into a business,” says Nicole.

Nicole says she has been overwhelmed by the support she has received for her business from her neighbours. “I am forever grateful for the love and support I have received from everyone since the beginning, including the amazing support from everyone at Everleigh. I cannot wait to continue to share new products with you all,” says Nicole.
