Family ties at Everleigh

The Galeas are part of a growing trend here in Everleigh, where multiple households from the same family are drawn into a co-located lifestyle, supported by walkability, amenity and abundant green spaces.

Michael and Bianca Galea, and their children Samarah, 2, and Gabriel, 1, decided Everleigh was the perfect place to call home after discovering the community by accident.

“We hadn’t heard of Everleigh before we stopped in to look at the Coral Homes display and realised straight away how much we liked it here,” says Michael.

Everleigh’s convenient location and value-for-money pricing clinched the deal, for not just the Galeas — but two family households. “My sister-in-law – Bianca’s sister – bought a block of land, and we soon followed suit,” he says.

“It is such a nice community at a reasonable price, which is a huge benefit when you’re looking for a location to build your new home.”

Michael says finding the right school in the local catchment and the vibrant community atmosphere also made Everleigh their top choice.

“We had been looking closer to where we were living in Logan but started branching out to other areas within an easy commute to my work in Wacol,” he says.

“Finding a school we liked was a major deciding factor, and we’ve found a wonderful school near Everleigh that we’re looking forward to sending our children to.

“It is also close to our church, and the shops are just over the road. The street appeal, sense of community and parks at Everleigh also stood out.”

The family settled their homesite late last year and are hoping to move into their new five-bedroom, double-storey home by Coral Homes later this year.
