LOCAL FAMILY UPGRADES AT EVERLEIGH
Minerva and Jarrod were first-home buyers when they moved to Everleigh in Greenbank. Now with two young sons, seven-year-old Esha and two-year-old Ari, the growing family has upgraded, moving into their second home in the community this year.
“We first came across Everleigh after driving past on our way to meet friends,” says Jarrod.
“We stopped to have a look at the display village but ended up exploring the rest of Everleigh and were blown away by the greenery, parks and sense of space.”
“We registered for land and secured a 420sqm lot, moving into our first home in early 2021 when Esha was only four-years-old.
“After two years living at Everleigh and with the addition of our second son, Ari, we started to look ahead and consider upgrading into a bigger home.
“However, we didn’t want to leave and give up the lifestyle we have built at Everleigh.
“Fortunately for us, there are still land releases in the community that allowed us to build our second home here and upgrade without moving away.
The couple sold their first home at Everleigh in late 2022 and moved into a new four-bedroom home on a 580sqm lot at the start of 2024.
Minerva says there are many reasons the family decided they wanted to upgrade at Everleigh.
“We love living at Everleigh, it’s a very diverse and beautiful place to raise our kids,” she says.
“We’ve also recommended Everleigh to many of our friends, who have also built their homes here over the years.
"Another factor that contributed to our decision was the excellent primary school onsite, Everleigh State School.
“It opened the same year Esha started school and he has attended since prep as a foundation student.
“Esha has also formed many friendships with other kids living in the community who attend the school and community activities hosted by Mirvac – including movie nights, sport classes, and themed events in the parks.
"We're so glad we were able to upgrade our home while still staying at Everleigh to raise our kids. We couldn’t imagine living anywhere else."
