1,000 BLOCKS AND COUNTING

EVERLEIGH HITS A NEW HIGH IN GREENBANK

From Ambition to Reality in Under a Decade

It’s official: Mirvac’s masterplanned community in Greenbank, Everleigh, has just clocked its 1,000th land settlement.

That’s 1,000 Queensland families (and counting) putting down roots in what’s fast becoming one of Logan’s most vibrant communities. Since its launch in 2018, Everleigh has grown into a thriving, community-centred neighbourhood, now home to circa 2,100 residents; a testament to its ongoing appeal.

What truly sets Everleigh apart is that 90 percent of buyers are owner-occupiers which is a clear indicators of the community’s lasting appeal and strong sense of pride residents have in calling it home.

Momentum That’s Hard to Ignore

So what’s behind the surge in interest? According to Warwick Bible, Mirvac’s General Manager of Residential Development QLD, it comes down to thoughtful planning, a standout location and lifestyle-focused design that aligns with the needs of today’s buyers.

"We’re thrilled to have hit 1,000 settlements. There are 107 homes under construction right now, adding to the 869 already built," says Mr Bible.

"We’ve had to bring forward new land releases to keep pace with demand and even reintroduced a ballot system to make sure registered buyers get a fair go."

That’s right, demand’s running hot. And while many developments slow down once the first few stages are done, Everleigh has only picked up the pace.

Why People are Making the Move

Everleigh isn’t just an estate of housing lots with kerbed roads and a shiny brochure. It’s a growing neighbourhood with genuine community spirit, bolstered by infrastructure that’s already paying off.

There’s the award-winning $  16 million AFL precinct; a hub for footy fans and families alike. There’s Everleigh State School right in the heart of the community and there’s plenty of parks, trails and green spaces that make weekend downtime feel like a holiday.

From a value perspective, Everleigh continues to attract buyers with its compelling combination of location, established amenities and quality design. The most recent land lease started at $394,000 which offers an accessible entry point for many, without comprising on lifestyle or long-term potential.

The 1,000th Buyers: A New Chapter Begins

Tobin James and Aneetha Vazhappilly were living in Orange, NSW, with their toddler when they decided it was time for a new adventure. After a bit of research, Everleigh ticked all their boxes.

"It was the first community we saw that genuinely felt like home," says Tobin. "The landscaping, the parks, the school — it just had everything we were looking for."

Add to that the Queensland Government’s doubled First Home Owner Grant — and the timing couldn’t have been better.

"We registered for a land release and secured a 480sqm lot pretty quickly. We’re building a four-bedder with Coral Homes and hope to move in around July 2025 ," says Aneetha. "We can’t wait. It’s a beautiful spot."

What’s Around the Corner?

The next land release is just around the corner and judging by recent activity, it’s expected to move quickly. Mirvac is encouraging potential buyers to register their interest to be amongst the first to hear about upcoming land releases.

Whether you’re a first-home buyer, a growing family, or someone simply chasing a fresh start in the southeast, Everleigh might just be your next move.
